Of All the Paths You Take in Life…

Be sure to:

Dig in the dirt. Get your fingernails dirty. Feel the soil.

Lie on the grass. Feel the earth beneath you.

Visit the mountains. It’s reassuring to encounter something that is so much bigger and older than you are…long before and long after you. Mountains and oceans help us realize how miniscule  and unimportant we are in the scheme of things.

Look up at the sky. Count the stars. Make wishes, and take action.

Care. Pick up garbage, on the ground, at the shoreline, in the water. We are either the Earth’s biggest threat or its most compassionate steward…and it starts with you and me. Let’s care for the beauty around us.

Marvel. Open your eyes. Take it all in. Breathe.
